then tdae got hematology screening slides test.
u hav to view the glass slides under hte microscope and analyse the red blood cells morphology and deduce wad condition patient is suffering from
kate doctor's right hand man. chey chey hehehehe!
k let me recall (k dun read this part cos its my schoolwork)
1. normochromic,normocytic rbcs condition: normal healthy individual2 microcytic, hypochromic rbs + eliptocytes + target cellscondition: Iron deficiency anemia3. Microcytic rbs + target cellsconditon: ida/thalassemia4. nRBCS, target cells, condition: hemolytic anemia5. howell-jolly bodiescondition: post splenectomy, sometimes pernicious anemia6. clumping of rbcs:condition: cold agglutinins: Auto-Anti I7. myeloblasts (prominent nucloelus, big nucleus, little cytoplasm), promyelocytes (reddish brown granules) + *)% blastscondtion: AML8: myelocytes (coarse nuclues) + promyelocytes (etc.)condtion: CML9. ovalocytes + eliptocytes + anisocytosiscondition: hereditary ovalocytosis10. spherocytes + acantocytes + target cellscondition: spherocytosis11. 2 or more trophozoite rings (suize 1/5 of rbc). one chromatin dotcondition: malarial parsite : plasmodium falciparum12. 1 large trophozoite ring (size 1/3 of rbc). one chromatin dotcondition: malarial parasite : plasmodium vivax13. dimorphic pic: one normal one microcyte hypochromiccondition: patient undergo blood transfusion/ on iron therapy recovering from anemia=D..haha yay i can recall but there are some stil not learnt. n my test is in 3 hours? haha
