my 21st.
my 21st was way more that i imagined it to be.
it was splendid, no less. and perhaps right now im the happiest girl in the world.
but first and foremost, i'd like to express some gratitude to God. He made me live till 21 and im thankful for all that i have. im sorry im not pious but i never forget im a muslim and i never forget that my fate is in YOUR hands. and that i may not live the next day but YOU always grant me my wishes in my prayers every night before i go to bed. YOU always wake me up the next day knowing i still have the people i love, esp my dad.
its a miracle we still have him with us and my dad is the best man i will ever know cos he gave me my present 2 days before my birthday and it was a pair of lovely earrings. to imagine him walking into the jewellery shop and picking the pair esp for me, (after 12 hours of tiring work and mind u, he's 64) is just really heartwarming. i hope my dad knows that when i nag at him about his diet, it's because i care about him. i hope his birthday shoes realli lessens his gaut pain.
ok i'd like to list the surprises first so that i shall remember till im old.
on my birthday, i went ice skating with my favourite girls, wana mas sarah and had a bruise on my siku thanks to wana. hahaha. then had a karaoke session which was so funny lah.
at genting, my aed frens surprised me with a cake at kenny rogers. they were so against me asking for the bill and while i was busy estimating the cost of the meals, they suddenly sang happy birthday while a waiter placed a cake in front of me. they even videotaped it haha. very cute la.
on to something more recent,
i actually had a birthday chalet bbq, twice in a row. once with my family and the next by my friends.
it was amazing, to say the least, cos my bestfriends, best buddies, good guy friends came and it means alot to me.

thanks to mas who came early to help me prepare *roll eyes at khalis* hahaha. thanks to zawana and mas for the delicious choc banana cake which i havent eaten haha. thanks to ados for being so rajin, helping to drive us around. if not for him, we wudnt eat ikan pari haha. thanks to ali ifwat for coming even tho they had zookout. thanks to sarah who gave up her zookout ticket cos she feels bad not attending. thanks to all who came like nas n bf, huda n bf. thanks to my bestie khadijah who forgot to take more pics after eating hahahahha! perangai babs hahaha but its ok, u took nice prep photos dear. i love them all.
and thanks to my loving boyfriend, khalis who made it happen.

i really don't know how to thank you, my dear muhammad khalis for the whole birthday chalet thingy. even though he didnt have time to prepare things cos he's in army, i knew he would if he had the time. at least you bought me my fav royals cake hehe, i loike! i'm really touched that you're spending all these money on me although i know how tight you are and i know u put aside $xx every month before this so that i could have the best 21st. i know money is not the measure of your love for me but knowing that you decrease expenditure for yourself and u stopped shopping for months just so that you meet the amount, i know that no one else would do that for me. thanks for everything dear, you're such a sweetheart and i truly love you.
